Summary
A George II walnut-veneered longcase clock inlaid with boxwood and ebonised stringing, the domed hood with triple brass and eagle finials, the 1'0" (30.5 cms) dial with strike/silent movement, second dial, date aperture and chased giltmetal spandrels cast as espagnolette masks and scrolls; the dial with an oval plaque inscribed Benj. Grey, Just, Vulliamy, London.
