Summary
A Fujica Rapid D1 Camera. This half frame 35mm camera has a metal body with a plastic coating round the side. On the silver top is printed 'Fujica Rapid D1' and a serial number -195381 and on the front is 'Fujica'. Film advance is spring loaded, wound by a large knob on the base on which is printed 'Made in Japan by Fuji Film Co. Ltd.' The lens is surrounded by a photo-electric cell and the camera can be used in manual or automatic mode. Meter readings are visible in the viewfinder. The lens is marked 'Fuji Phot Film Co Fujinon 1:2.8 f=2.8cm'. There are four shutter speeds to 1/300 sec and bulb. A plastic cap protects the lens and is marked 'Fujica'. A woven leather wrist band is attached via the tripod bush.
