Summary
Cardboard case for a reel of exposed 8mm cine film. The cardboard case is covering half of the reel of film, the other half of the reel is exposed. The case has a cord the same width of film that is attached and loops over the top of the reel to try to keep the film in place on the reel. The case is cardboard with blue paper strip stuck to the case across the top and down both sides and there are 4 metal studs, 2 on either side, to hold the cord in place. On one side of the case is the following – “CHARLIE ON THE BOARDS” (THE PROPERTY MAN) WITH CHARLIE CHAPLIN MARK SENNETT There is a signature that is unreadable in the bottom right corner.
