Summary
A Photax Universal Developing Tank. The tank is black bakelite and comprises four parts: the tank, the lid, the film holding spiral and the agitator rod. The film size is adjusted by moving the plastic spacers on the stem of the spiral. The agitatitor is a rod which, when inserted into the centrol hole of the lid, locks onto the spiral and rotates it through the solutions. The lid locks onto the tank forming a light proof seal. The lid is embossed 'Photax Universal Developing Tank British Made'. Solutions are input through the central hole and are poured out via a drain to the side of the lid. The base of the tank also has embossed 'British made'.
