Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver glass lantern slide entitled "The Serious Worker". The image depicts a photographer with a camera on a tripod, his head under a dark cloth, on a path in some woodland. Two sheets of glass, 83 mm x 83 mm, one of which carries the image and the other is a cover glass, bound together with black paper tape. Behind the cover glass there is a black and white geometric/grid and circle patterned paper mask over the image with square corners. Above the image, also behind the glass, is a white label upon which has been handwritten in black ink: "The Serious Worker". There is a white circle at the top left corner. Beneath this is a white label upon which has been handwritten in pencil: "A.E. Boniface. Class II".
