Summary
Monochrome gelatine silver glass lantern slide entitled "The Treasurer". The image depicts a man seated behind a wooden desk, writing with a dip pen. There is an inkwell inset in the desk and various papers on the desk. The man wears a coat and scarf. Two sheets of glass, 83 mm x 83 mm, one of which carries the image and the other is a cover glass, bound together with black paper tape. Behind the cover glass there is a black and white geometric/grid patterned paper mask over the image with square corners. Above the image, also behind the glass, is a white label upon which has been handwritten in black ink: "The Treasurer". There is a white circle at the top left corner.
