Summary
Monochrome gelatine silver glass lantern slide entitled "Majesty of Beauty". The image depicts countryside, with a tree and hedgerow in the foreground, with more trees and bushes in the middle distance and a grassy hill in the background. Two sheets of glass, 83 mm x 83 mm, one of which carries the image and the other is a cover glass, bound together with black paper tape. Behind the cover glass there is a black and white geometric/grid and circle patterned paper mask over the image with square corners. The image is off-center, with the left hand side of the mask being wider than the left. Above the image is a white label upon which has been handwritten in black ink: "Majesty of Beauty". There is a white circle at the top left corner. Handwritten in white ink on the black border is 'A E Boniface, Class I'.
