Summary
Leather case for a Kodak Colorsnap 35 Model 2 camera. The whole is of firm leather construction and lined with red, plush fabric. Based on a leather cradle which encloses three sides of the camera it attaches to the camera by means of a knurled bolt which secures to the tripod socket. The rest of the case comprises three main parts. The front leather portion is reinforced with a plastic dome which covers the lens, wraps around under the camera and attaches to the back around the pop fastener so that in use it drops down below the camera. The top is a further plastic portion with chrome trim and is riveted to the leather front. The final leather portion is riveted to the back of the top dome and closes the case by attaching to the pop fastener. Two halves of a hand strap are fixed to metal attachments riveted to the base of the caseand join with a buckle. The strap could be extended to a neckstrap by an adjustable belt style strap.
