Summary
Agfa Flexilette 3030 twin lens reflex 35mm camera. The whole is a light alloy bodied 35mm camera with leather/leatherette covers to the back and side fronts The front of the camera has an alloy top area containing the pop up reflex view finder, the front of which is marked “Flexilette”. The hexagonal standard contains the diamond shaped Agfa trademark and bottom right (as in use) there is a flash socket. Down the left side of the standard is a release lever which adjusts the aperture to prevailing light. The lenses are central to the camera and the mount is marked “Agfa Color- Apotar 1:2.8/45”. The lens has a shutter speed setting ring, aperture setting ring and focus ring. The focus ring is marked "Prontor" The back of the camera has a viewfinder top central. From the back there is a view through frame viewfinder as well as the reflex viewfinder. The viewfinder release button is directly below. The film rewind button is below. The covered portion of the back of the camera opens to reveal the film compartment. The top left of the camera is the film counter dial and the film type. In the centre is the reflex viewfinder and to the right the shutter release which has a screw fitting for a cable release. The left side of the camera has the release mechanism for the film compartment. The right side of the camera has the hinge for the film compartment.. The bottom of the camera has the film transport lever on the left and a tripod socket and a rewind knob to allow the film to be rewound into the cassette.
