Summary
Minolta - 16 model - P camera. The first Minolta 16 camera was the 16 Automat (1955), which was almost identical to the Konan 16 Automat. It featured a fixed-focus 25mm lens, apertures from f/3.5 to f/11, and shutter speeds from 1/50 to 1/200 plus bulb. Film advance was via a Minox-style push-pull housing. The 16 P, came out in 1960. It had a rigid body, and aperture range of f3.5-f16. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minolta_16 The top of the camera shows the ASA and just below is a slider to allow the selection and the button to press to take the photograph. The words Minolta – 16 appear. The front of the camera has the word Minolta with the view finder. The left of the camera has the handle strap. The back of the camera has the view finder, ASA winder and film winder. The release button allows for the pull down for inserting a film. There are small images against the following – BRIGHT SUN HAZY SUN CLOUDY BRIGHT CLOUDY DULL. OPEN SHADE UNDER BLUE SKY The bottom of the camera has a screw in option with the word JAPAN underneath and to the right the words – MINOLTA-16 MODEL – P LENS ROKKER 3.5/25 MINOLTA CAMERA CO., LTD
