Summary
Box containing a glass phial of Redevelop Intensifier "Scaloids" Developer No. 2 compressed tablets by Johnson & Sons, Manufacturing Chemists Ltd., 23 Cross St, Finsbury, London. It is evident that there would originally have been more than one phial of developer tablets in the pack. The label on this phial mentions Developer No.1. would have been used in combination, and the box is large enough for two phials. This pack of Johnson & Sons "Scaloids", dates from pre-1927, as it bears the address of 23 Cross St, Finsbury, London. A green cardboard box with sliding inner, damaged, with the end missing. The box label has become detached and is now inside the box. The glass phial has a cork stopper and a paper label. Only two tablets remain inside.
