Box of 25 feet roll of Kodachrome II 8 mm colour movie safety film for photoflood light. Unopened original yellow cardboard box containing 25 feet of film for 8 mm cameras. Stamped with process before date of August 1964. Emulsion number 22371. Markings: Red and black text and Kodachrome II logo, with information including: "Improved higher speed. ASA 40/3.5°. B.S.27°. 17 DIN. "Film price includes processing by Kodak if returned uncut".
Provenance
Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
