Summary
Box (empty) for four Eastman's Transparent Film Cartridges for use in the Brownie Camera. Inside the box is an instruction leaflet - white paper printed in black ink. White (originally) cardboard lidded box, printed in green ink: "Four Eastman's Transparent Film Cartridges (Pat. May 6 '85, May 21, '95), Each 6 exposures, 2¼ x 2¼ inches, for use in the Brownie Camera. Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, NY". On the base of the box is stamped "Emulsion No.11864" and a sticker printed in red ink: "30 - Sensitometer. Notice. This film should be exposed and developed as soon as possible after purchase and under no circumstances later than April 1st, 1901."

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
