Summary
A "Jack in the Box" image strip for a Zoetrope. The strip has 13 square images. The first one shows a closed box, whilst the last one shows a head fully out of the box. Those images in between show the head gradually rising out of the box. The head is wearing a blue cap and has a pink face. The quality of the colouring suggest that it has been done by hand. The strip has a printed title "Jack in a Box" bottom left and "Entered at Stationers' Hall" bottom right.
