Summary
Thermometer. The back plate appears to be Ivory or Ivorine and is calibrated from 20 - 100 degrees. The back plate is also inscribed "BUSS 48 Hatton Garden London". The mercury filled glass tube is fixed to the back plate by a brass bracket secured by two screws and the bulb of the tube is protected and secured by a brass plate which has been bent into a D shape and secured by two screws.
