Summary
Screen for Kodatoy 16mm cine projector.
Full description
A red, black and silver cardboard screen for a Kodatoy 16mm cine projector. This is presented as a "Kodaplay Theatre", that required assembly. The screen itself is silver, as are the 2 panels next to it and the "roof" and the "floor". The 2 outer panels and the portico are red. All the panels have black scalloped edges at the top (simulating curtains) and each contain a balustrade, on the centre of which stands an art deco planter and a large leaf display. The "roof" has a black elongated diamond motif on it and the "floor" has a black checkerboard design on it. The portico is entitled "Kodaplay Theatre", with a smiling face in between the wording. Markings: there are various tabs and slots, with black printing "A,B, D and E". Associated with these are instructions, "Place Tuck A into Slot B" and "Fold top panel down inside this wing. Place Tuck D through Slot E which holds theatre ceiling in position". At the bottom of the righthand near panel is printed in black, "Lithographed in the USA for Eastman Kodak Co, Rochester N Y".
