Summary
Ensign cinematograph hand-cranked 35mm cine camera. The camera body is a wooden box covered in black leather, with a black leather carrying handle and a top mounted optical frame finder. It is fitted with a removable screw-mounted helical focusing Aldis-Ensign Anastigmat f3.1 2 inch lens (No. 108729), and a removable screw-mounted winding handle. One side of the box can be opened to reveal the claw and sprocket winding mechanism and to allow the film spools to be loaded and unloaded. On the inside of the door is a printed notice and diagram with instructions for how to keep the spools tightly wound while doing this.
