Summary
A lithographic coloured glass lantern slide in rectangular format, bound with a red paper border. There are 4 circular images across the glass, with a painted black mask between them. In top right hand corner of slide is a circle with manufacturer mark 'GebrB' in, and in opposite corner a circle with the number '8.' in. The 4 images consist of two with fire and two with steam trains; the first is of animals and men escaping from a fire on the plains; the second shows a steam train entering a tunnel in the mountains at night, and the next of it exiting the tunnel, the fourth is of a volcanic eruption.
