Summary

4 Gas mantle containers, holding three actual mantles. 2 x Veritas Ramie cardboard cylinders only one of which contains a mantle. 1 x Tricot Upright Mantle in its carboard container one unmarked mantle in plain cardboard tube; also one metal cylindrical holder and a piece of paper stating Ventas Gas Mantle.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
