Summary
A pack of Howlett's mantle rods, unopened. This is a small brown card cylinder with metal closures at each end. Printed onto the card in black " Entd at Stationer's Hall HOWLETT'S extra strong MANTLE RODS and (of British Manufacture) UPRIGHT HOLDERS. (PATENTED.) Contains two rods with holders Directions take holder compress or open as required and place in centre then fix rod as usual " N.B. there is a small area of the instruction missing.
