Summary
Lens assembly for a Benetfink Lantern slide projector. The lenses are contained in a brass tube within a collar which screws into the lens housing so that it can be focused by means of a knurled knob which controls a rack and pinion system to move the whole objective lens forward and back. There is a heavy brass cap held by a screw and when closed stops with a screw in a small notch. There is a knurled knob on the cap to facilitate opening and closing.
