Summary
Original box lid for a Beresford's Climax photographic changing tent. This is a card box lid covered with red paper. There is a white paper label central to the lid with a picture of the erected tent and the following text. "Beresford's Climax Changing Tent size No2 weight 4lbs Price /- Directions - Unite the two side pieces of mahogany with the shorter centre piece by bringing the brass fittings together and screwing down the rods, one at each side. Drop thetop bar of the tent into the rods, and secure the tent by buttoning at the four corners. Now adjust the face piece so that the material crosses the crown of the head and passes along the upper lip, leaving the mouth free for breathing outside. The elastic strap is then placed under the chin. Put arms well through the sleeves and there will be plenty of freedom for working. F Beresford, 4 Albert Bridge Road, Battersea, London." Unfortunately, the box is very damaged there is one repair evident but the box lid has about ten tears and or creases. .
