Summary
Plate holder fo a Thornton-Pickard photographic enlarging lantern. This is a mahogany frame containing a board which has an opeing to recieve the plate. Within the frame and around the plate holder is a circular rack which by means of the controls on the top of the frame allow the plate holder to be rotated to any positoion and then locked into place. the plate holder was designed for half plates but contains a frame which convertsit for 5 x 4 inch sheet film.
