Summary

Klimax photographic developing tank - lid. On top is the entry for the solutions and this has a screw top with a cork washer. The solutions enter the tank through a light seal and the rack containing the stereo plate forms part of the lid structure. Four plates are accomodated, each 45 x 110 mm. The lid has a location lug and two clips to fit to the tank. A chain is attached to the lid -purpose unclear.

Provenance

Part of The Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
