Summary
Original box lid for a Houghton & Sons Ensignette Model B photographic developing tank. The lid of the box is a simple card tray covered in blue paper. There has been a repair to one end using thick white paper. On the top of the lid is a paper label which reads " British Made "Ensignette" Developing For use in daylight Tank Model B (Patent.) For the No 1 "Ensignette" A2073 Houghtons Ltd., Manufacturers London and Glasgow" between the words manufacturer and London is a picture of a white ensign flag with the word Ensign written across the white area.
