Summary
A wooden lens carrying box with six padded compartments for lenses. Marked fragile on top, stencilled in black ink/paint. The sides are joined with finger joints, and the lid and base are affixed by small nails. There is a carrying handle on top of the hinged lid, which is secured by two metal clasps. The wooden compartments are approximately 90mm square and 105mm deep and are lined with padded red fabric. The interior of the lid is similarly padded in red fabric.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
