Instruction brochure for Davon micro-telescope. There are two brochures together with a separate list of organisations which use the kit. Brochure A is headed 'The Davon Micro=Telescope and Super Microscope (Cornell & Davidsons Patents'. It has 16 pages. Brochure B is headed 'The Davon Super Microscope for Critical Microscopy, Etc'. It also has 16 pages. Both the documents and the user list have the manufacturers name and address 'F.Davidson & Co., Manufacturing Opticians, 29,Great Portland Street, London, W.1.'

Provenance

Part of The Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
