Summary
An ICA Pneumatic Magnesium Flash Gun. It comprises an oblong chrome box with rounded ends. The top is dished to form a small metal tray for the flash powder. There is a metal staple shape mounted into this tray, possibly the ignition mechanism. There is a metal knob protruding from one end of the box but this no longer appears to to function. to one side of the knob is the connection for the pneumatic bulb. The rubber pipe and bulb are very perished and hard and no longer function and the pipe has broken.The front.of the box section is embossed ICA AKT Ges Dresden and there is a pentacle design below.
