Summary
Autotype disc actinometer made by the Autotype Co. Ltd, c.1930. 45mm diameter two part tin with glass lid. Reddish brown standard tint card with circular hole. Felt-covered wooden insert for paper disc. beneath the standard tint colour arc and the hole through which the sensitive paper is exposed is printed "Standard Tint. Directions. Expose until the sensitive paper under the aperture discolours to the tone of the Standard Tint. A slight turn of the lid will expose a fresh portion of the paper. The Autotype Company's Disc Actinometer"
