Summary
F52 Aerial Camera by Williamson Manufacturing Co, London. Cone lens 20", f/6.3, No. W182654. Grey metal casing and gear box. "H1" painted in gold on the side. In 1942, the F52 was developed (from the F24) and it used an image format of 8.5"×7", magazines up to 500 exposures, and was better suited for 36" and 40" lenses in larger installations.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
