Summary
A folding Mascher Stereoscope. The unit is a wooden box covered in leather. Inside a flap folds out which carries the fixed focus lenses. The panel is leather covered and has in gold lettering 'Maschers Improved Stereoscope Philada Patent March 8th 1853'. The Daguerreotypes are viewed on the inside lid.
