Summary
A folding stereoscope. The unit is largely cardboard on a wooden frame and is covered with a black fabric. It folds into a small case. A brass clip maintains it's correct operation position. On the top is a faded label 'Brevete' together with an insignia. (Breveté SGDG is an abbreviation of "breveté sans garantie du gouvernement" and translates as: "patent without the government guarantee".)
