Summary
A Frena Film Holder for cut film manufactured by R & J Beck and sold by Shrew & Co London. Ccomprising a wooden box with brass fittings. The back is hinged with two brass hinges and secured with three brass clips. In the centre of the back is a plastic roundell stating " SOLD BY SHREW & CO LONDON." On the top edge is a brass plate stating "FRENA FILM HOLDER PATENT. R & J BECK LTD 88" and in the brass plate is a circular hole showing the film count. On the top edge of the box is a brass plate and film change mechanism. The front draw slide is metal and inside the box is a spring loaded plate to compress the film and at the sides are sliding plates with teeth to change the film.
