Summary
A wet plate back for Meagher Studio camera. The body is mahogany with brass fittings. The actual plate holder has a wooden light seal and has a viewing panel at the rear. This attaches (via a brass slider) to a unit which varies the distance at which thee plate is held. The purpose of this is at present unclear.
