Summary

Black wooden magazine camera box housing the mechanism of the camera. Box has metal protective edges at each corner. Back of camera opens to show film sheets housed in the magazine of the camera. Has a metal winding knob on the side of the box. A large circular metal plate is screwed to the bottom of the box.

Provenance

Part ofThe Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986
