Summary
Le Touriste magazine camera by Enjalbert. Wooden box construction with bed and tapered red leather bellows. Maunfactured by Enjalbert of Paris and sold by sole agents Marion and Co 22 & 23 Soho Square London. Camera has a fine hard wood body with brass trim and carry handle, with a Steinheil Gruppen-Antiplanet 48 spring shutter. Eight plates are contained in a light proof magazine, each fixed by one of eight screws on the side of the camera body which retain the frames inside the camera body . Eight corresponding slots in the rear of the camera accept the ground glass accessory to focus for the plate postion. Camera body has plate on side "Enjalberts Patent Camera No 567 Marion & Co Sole Agents 22 & 23 Soho Square London.
