Summary
Magazine falling plate camera with 12 metal plate holders Wooden body camera with black leatherette covering and a black leather handle on the top. Rack and pinion focus with adjusting knob on the side. Red leather bellows. 2 brilliant viewfinders - on top and the side. Unicum lens. Shutter release on the side. 12 plate holders (988mm x 110mm) within the camera body held in place by a curved open spring. Plates can be accessed from the back and base of the camera body. No markings on camera apart from Unicum under the lens and on the back door "Test N9" and "BRITISH MADE".

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
