Summary
A "Frena Exposure Book", as issued to purchasers of a Frena camera. The booklet is in pocket-diary format with a dark red imitation leather cover and contains 36 pages. The first 12 sides contain printed information about how to use the camera (holding the camera, exposures, shutter speeds, subject distances, using the 'swing back', handling and processing films, and taking interior and portrait photos). The next 30 sides contain tables for the user to record details of photographs taken (date, time, stop, light, exposure, subject, remarks). The owner has used the book to record such details, for photos taken between 24/3/1897 and 10/4/1906 and between 23/8/1923 and 21/4/1924. The final 4 sides carry adverts for a double roller squeegee, a skate blade print trimmer, a Bynoe printing frame, and the "Perfection" magazine flash lamp. Enclosed in the booklet are four pieces of blank exposed filmsheet and a packaging label from a Frena film pack with "develop before Oct 1927"
