Summary
Original cardboard box for No.3 Clincher falling-plate magazine box camera by W Butcher & Sons of London (lid missing). Cardboard is covered in grey paper patterned to look like cloth. There is a paper label on one end of the box, partly torn, upon which is printed a design in blue ink, with the following text in black ink: "No.3 Clincher Magazine Camera. ¼ Plate". Handwritten in pencil on the top of the label is "c.1906" and "c/292". A paper label is affixed to the base of the box, upon which is a printed blue border and stamped in the centre in black ink is "D47262" (this is the same serial number as inside the camera, confirming it is the original box).
