Summary
3A Graflex camera. Reflex Camera for 3A Roll film 3¼ x 5½ inch or 122 film, manufactured by Folmer & Schwing, at that time a division of the Eastman Kodak Company The body is made of wood covered with black leather. There is a concealed button to open the front of the camera to reveal the standard and bellows which pull forward onto a track which can then be further extended by use of the knurled wheel control. Either side of the lens opening there are concealed buttons which release small doors on the side of the camera. These are intended as spare film storage. The left side of the camera has the mechanism for setting the shutter speed, shutter release and rolling on the film On top of the camera is a strong leather handle and a clip fitting. This clip opens the top of the camera to reveal the viewing hood and the Graflex speed table. The back of the camera releases to enable access to the film compartment. The lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena Nr 161796. Tessar 1:6.3 F=18cm DRP F stops from 6.3 - 45
