Summary
Butcher's Reflex Carbine Camera Designed as a compact, inexpensive reflex camera that used 120 roll film. Constructed of wood covered with black morocco leatherette. Fitted with an Aldis Uno Anastigmat f7.7 lens and an Instant and time exposures shutter controlled by two different firing buttons. Folding viewing hood on top which can be folded down into the camera. Tripod bush on side and base and a short leather strapp on the other side. Marking include "T" and "I" embssed in the leather adjacent to two buttons. On the top a metal distance plate also states "PATENT No 210531 1922" On the lid of the viewing hood "Butcher's Reflex Carbine" embossed in the leather. Inside the camer on the back of the film holder is a paper stamp with a picture of a stork on a roll of film and the words "Reflect Carbine. Takes c20 Carbine films (2¼B) and all other makes of similar size. Butcher's British Cameras" at the front is a wooden spool with a slit to hold the film reel
