The slide hinges open and has a cloth tab at the hinge end, and a white plastic disc with a Roman numeral printed in black, from I to VI. When inserted in the outer sleeve, this disc protrudes through a circular aperture in the plastic outer sleeve, which acts to secure it in place. The outside of the open edge of the inner slide has a black wooden strip, and the inner side has a strip of black velvet. There is a thin brown wooden strip inside the hinge of the film holder slide. Manufacturer unknown.
