Summary
A 'Campro' (Mk 2) 9.5mm cine camera/projector by Home Cine Cameras Ltd, London. The body is black metal with black leather handle and the fittings are white metal (type unknown). The Mk 2 Campro is mechanically identical to the Mk1 (see Inventory No. 1524760), but with a better lens. This model was fitted with a fixed focus f1.9 lens, with an adustable iris. Frame viewfinder flips up on top. Loading is via the side panel. Winding key on side of camera. Footage indicator. There is a tripod mount on the base. Inside the camera is a small light bulb fitting (bulb missing) which is used when projecting film. Markings: Metal plate on side of camera printed with '"Campro" Cine Camera Projector. World's Patents Pending. Home Cine Cameras Ltd, London' A metal label on the front of the camera next to the lens is printed: 'Reduce stops as circumstances permit. Project F/1.9.
