Summary
Biokam 17.5 mm camera/projector. 1899 A combined cine camera (cinematograph) and snap-shot camera, printer, projector, reverser, and enlarger. The main construction is in mahogany. There are three parts: the front mechanism chamber, where the film is exposed, a box with spool holder for projection, and a large box for storing the exposed film. The crank for turning the projected film is missing. The lens is missing and the lens fitting is engraved with " Voigtlander & Sohna Co. Brunswick 63667". Below are stamped setiings "SET" "TIME" "SHUT" "OPEN" "SNAP" and an arrow. The metal manufacturers plate is inset to the front, on which is printed in black ink "The Bickham. Registered. PATENTED IN ALL THE PRINCIPLE COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD". The camera/projector box detaches from the larger box. The interior of both is painted black. Stamped at both ends of the film storage box is "411". Inside the front of the mechanism box is stamped "453" and below is written in pencil "411".
