Summary
Newman & Guardia Model Special B pneumatic camera shutter mechanism. Wooden and metal body covered with black leather and with metal mechanism and fixings. Hinge opening to mechanism inside. T-shaped spirit level on top. Viewfinder on top and side. Viewing apertures covered by swivel plate - one missing. Aperture and exposure adjustment levers. Inside the door is fitted with a lens flange to hold the front component of the lens when removed from the camera. Markings: Engraved on outside side panel: "N & G Special B", "Patent". Stamped into wood inside shutter: "SB 372", "Rd.No. 200964". Envraved onto interior metalwork: "Newman & Guardia Ltd Patent" Registered no. 200964 Markings:
