Summary
An MB No 1 field camera. Made by Marlow Brothers, Birmingham, the body is mahogany with brass fittings and the bellows is brown leather. It has rack and pinion focussing and a rising front. There is a simple rotary shutter and a fixed aperture. Focusing is on a ground glass screen. The rear of the camera may be adjusted at various angles There is a tripod mount on the base. The top of the camera has a leather carrying handle. There is a leather lens cap.
