Summary
An early field camera manufactured by Taylor's Drug Co Ltd. The plate size is 10x7.5cm (quarter plate) and there is a ground glass focussing screen at the rear. Focussing is purely by movement of the lens panel. The body is mahogany and the bellows is a dark brown fabric. The fittings are brass but there is no shutter or diaphragm. On the top of the body is an enamel label 'Taylors Drug Co.Ltd. Photographic & Technical Dept. London, Leeds, Etc.' Inside the rear cover is stamped '62' . Note that Taylors later became part of Timothy White & Taylor. There is a leather lens cap lined with felt. There is a tripod bush on the base.
