Summary
A set of two wooden photographic plate holders for half plates. Red- brown wood with brass hinges and fittings. Plate holder 1: The interior is painted black, no markings. To the front exterior is faintly indented with "6" and handwritten in balck pen ink "P.O.P" and an illegible word. Leather tabs allow panels to be slid back, both are intact. Plate holder 2: The interior is painted black with a stamp "D". To the front exterior is carved "2". Leather tabs allow panels to be slid back, only one of these is intact. Partial damage to wooden sliding panel.
