Summary
Original cardboard box for V.P. Twin miniature vest pocket rollfilm camera by E. Elliott Ltd. Tan coloured outer with black printed images and text giving details of camera's features. Markings: Inside flaps: "Every part British Made". Front: "V.P. Twin Bakelite Pocket Camera. Two pictures can be taken on each standard V.P. exposure, giving 16 pictures on standard 8 exposure film. Daylight loading." Rear: "V.P. Twin Bakelite Pocket Camera." Sketch of camera with features identified: "Non-reversible winding knob. Folding view finder. B.O.L. Co Optically ground every distance meniscus lens f 12.5. Bakelite case. Instantaneous shutter. Takes vest pocket size films. Obtainable everywhere. Made in England". On each side of the box: "V.P. Twin Bakelite Pocket Camera for beautiful snapshots. Rectangle indicating actual size of photograph 15/8" x 11/4". Takes perfect pictures with remarkable definition, capable of successful enlargement". On base and lid: registered trademark of a sailing boat and capital letter L.
