Summary
A brown leather fitted camera case for Universal Camera Corp. Mercury II camera. The camera has a leather strap rivetted to case with two covered metal rivets on each side. Lens cover is embossed with the name of camera, 'Mercury'. Front of case is held closed by two metal poppers. Camera is held in case by metal winding clasp in base of case.

Part of The Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
